Approved Minutes of the Wigmore Group Parish Council – June 2015

Plans for the future of St James’ Church in Wigmore were discussed at a meeting in the village hall on Monday evening, June 22^nd.  A presentation was made by the members of a Community Interest Company that has been set up to address the situation.  The presentation addressed the key issues and included visual representations of what the church might look like if these ideas are brought to fruition.

A new section of this website has been set up to communicate progress in this exciting project. Please have a look here and feedback any comments you might have via our contacts page.

Further progress will be communicated via news items and future posts on this website.

As of this week we are commencing a programme to revise and overhaul the content of the Mortimer Villages website. This will likely be “work-in-progress” for a few weeks as every page of the site will need to reviewed and in many cases refreshed as much content is now out of date. The work is being conducted on a voluntary basis so please bear with us while we tackle it.

We held the Annual Parish Meeting for Wigmore, the Annual Meeting of Wigmore Group Parish Council and the ordinary monthly meeting of the Parish Council on 11th May.  Here are the approved minutes.
