Wigmore Group Draft Neighbourhood Plan – 2nd Consultation

The Wigmore Group Parishes Draft Neighbourhood Development Plan goes out to community consultation on the 11th December 2017 and runs through to the 29th January 2018.

Responses must be received by 5pm on 29th January 2018.

Notification of the formal public consultation on the Wigmore Group Draft Neighbourhood Plan (Regulation 14 Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012)

Your Parish Council has been preparing a draft Neighbourhood Development Plan for the four parishes of Wigmore Group. This draft plan has been based on residents’ views that have been expressed through consultation and also on Herefordshire Council’s Core Strategy.

The Draft Plan has now been published for formal consultation with local residents, statutory bodies, businesses and other interested bodies. The consultation period runs from Monday 11 December 2017 until 5pm on Monday 29 January 2018.

During this consultation you may view the draft plan and associated documents on this web page. You can also see paper copies of the draft plan at Wigmore Village Shop, Wigmore Village Hall, St James’ Church, The Oak and The Castle.

If you would like to make any comments on this draft plan during the consultation period you can either email them to the parish clerk at clerk.wigmoregpc@outlook.com  Or you can put them in writing and send them to 6 Bury Court Park, Wigmore, Leominster, HR6 9US. A Response form is attached for your convenience however you may respond in a different format if you so choose.

What will happen next?

Following this public consultation, the Draft Neighbourhood Development Plan will be revised and a final plan will be submitted to Herefordshire Council to check that it complies with all the necessary regulations. The final plan will then be published for another public consultation (Regulation 16). Following this, the final plan will be submitted to an Independent Examiner for assessment and, if passed, a referendum will take place on the plan.
