‘The Restoration of Capability Brown’s last garden at Berrington Court.’
Tonight we will hear from Ellie Jones, who works at National Trust Berrington Hall. The walled garden and pleasure grounds at Berrington are Lancelot ‘Capability’ Brown’s last known masterpiece before his death in 1783. This project aims to con-serve the rare curved section of the walled garden, reinstate the glasshouse and the original path network and planting. This will be a very interesting talk by an inspiring speaker.
Cost: £2 for non-members, with membership being £5 per annum. All welcome.
