Our famous Christmas Pudding mixing takes place at Brampton Bryan Parish Hall on Saturday 24th November.
We mix 300lbs of pre-ordered puddings, made to a closely guarded secret recipe handed down through generations of one of our members. It is all hands to the mixing bowls and the Parish Hall is scented with the spices that go into our puddings. People come and have a stir and make a wish, usually they stop for a coffee and buy wonderful home made goodies from our sales table. They then collect their pudding mix and take it home to cook it themselves.
Both The Lion at Leintwardine and The Riverside at Aymestrey purchase their pudding mix from us and have supported us for many years, along with all the individuals that look forward to this event every year, travelling miles to be part of it.
