New Articles on Wigmore History
Two new articles on aspects of the history of our community have been added to the website.
The first is on the little known legacy of the Cold War and a nearby nuclear fallout shelter that remains buried under a local field.
The second is an article written by local resident, Joy Ardy, about the unusual war memorial in Wigmore church and the men that it commemorates.
If you have any interesting stories about our community’s past please get in touch via our contact page.
