Wigmore Castle Keep – closed until further notice

English Heritage have informed us that they have had to block off access to the castle keep for repairs to the steps. People can continue to visit the rest of the castle but just cannot access the keep for the moment. The steps will be repaired but because of the castle’s ancient monument status it may take a while for all of the permissions to be obtained.
